Smartphone 3.0

Wait a minute.

How many times do I need to update about this? Smartphone is a thing that we’ll never be able to catch up.

But this statement is not applied to Apple user.

This wishlist is still go on. But for this time, I will stick to this one.

The Sony Xperia Z. Wait, Sony again?

Only for this time, this is a gift (thank you Makcu!) and I very appreciate this gift. But, this device still amazed me. Why?

1. It’s free! Who doesn’t love free smartphone?

2. Still respectable specs. (Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage + MicroSD slot, 5inch Full HD display, 13MP main camera + 2.2MP front)

3. Latest Android bitches! 5.1.1 Lollipop and it is awesome. Never let me down easy.

Wait, that is also a song.

4. It’s Sony dude. Their build quality is one of the best on the market.

But this is what concerning my doubt for future.

1. Camera is not what we would expected. For Sony standard, this camera is meh.

2. Battery life. This phone is only contain 2330mAH (smaller than Vivo Xshot) In standby mode, this phone can stand for full day. But during usage, it’s cut in half. Very worrying.

3. Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Is this phone will make it? This device is already 2 years old (which is exceed Google’s recommended life cycle) but as long as LG Nexus 4 is getting the update, there is still a hope.

4. Avoid waterproofing at all cost. The USB flap is loose so I would not put this device in water.

Otherwise, this phone is so optimized that I didn’t even feel any hiccup or lag. Nice work Sony. Maybe I will use this for a while until I have enough cash to buy a new one.

Maybe Xperia Z5. If the software is awesome like this and doesn’t have too many bloatware like Zenfone 2 (take note Asus).

**Your Story Never Looked So Good**

P/S: This Sony Xperia Z will not get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow due to end of support for the Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. Same goes to Nexus 4. Dammit! (Last edited : 8th October 2015, 8.00PM)
